TÜBİTAK, in cooperation with the European Factories of the Future Research Association (EFFRA), will organise the Made in Europe Partnership Info & Networking Day on 13 October 2026 in Ankara, within the scope of the Technical Assistance for Türkiye in Horizon Europe Project.
Established under Horizon Europe Cluster 4: Digital, Industry and Space, the Made in Europe Partnership is a co-programmed European public-private partnership that aims to accelerate the green and digital transformation of European manufacturing while strengthening its technological leadership and global competitiveness. With the ambition of contributing to a competitive, green, digital, resilient and human-centric European manufacturing industry, the Partnership supports research and innovation in areas including efficient, flexible and smart factories and supply chains, the use of artificial intelligence in manufacturing, circular and climate-neutral manufacturing, advanced manufacturing technologies and human-centric manufacturing.
Bringing together industrial organisations of different sizes, research and technology organisations, universities, clusters and other relevant stakeholders, the Made in Europe Partnership has its private side represented by EFFRA. As a non-profit organisation promoting the development of new and innovative manufacturing technologies, EFFRA brings together a diverse and dynamic community of more than 150 members across over 10 countries, representing both industry and research.
The Made in Europe Partnership calls fall under the first destination of Cluster 4: Digital, Industry and Space, “Leadership in materials and production for Europe.” The event is organised to support greater participation of organisations active in Türkiye’s manufacturing industries in Made in Europe Partnership calls and to encourage the development of high-value collaborations and joint projects with European partners. The programme will address the following topics:
- Vision, objectives and scope of the Made in Europe Partnership
- Structure, working mechanisms and governance model of the Made in Europe Partnership
- EFFRA’s role in the European manufacturing ecosystem and within the Made in Europe Partnership
- Made in Europe Partnership Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA)
- Made in Europe Partnership 2027 calls and project development opportunities
- Opportunities for stakeholders from Türkiye to participate and collaborate within the Made in Europe Partnership ecosystem
During the event, the Executive Director of EFFRA will provide participants with the latest information on the structure and strategic priorities of the Made in Europe Partnership and its 2027 calls. The programme will also bring together leading research organisations and industry representatives from Europe and Türkiye involved in projects funded under Made in Europe Partnership calls to share their experiences and success stories.
In addition, pitching sessions will provide participants with an opportunity to present project ideas targeting the Made in Europe Partnership 2027 calls. The programme will conclude with one-to-one meetings, bringing potential project partners together to explore new cooperation opportunities and lay the groundwork for future consortia.
The event is aimed particularly at industrial companies, SMEs, universities, research and technology organisations, technology providers, clusters and relevant public institutions active in the manufacturing sector, as well as other stakeholders from the Turkish Research Area interested in developing new projects and collaborations with European partners within the Made in Europe Partnership.

The event will take place in person only in Ankara. Participants are required to complete the pre-registration form and receive confirmation of participation. Due to the limited capacity of the event, participation will be confirmed among pre-registered applicants taking into account the event’s target audience.
